Nathaniel Brown has been raising money for Crohn’s & Colitis Canada since he was 6 years old. He started by running an annual lemonade stand, but when Covid restrictions changed things, he got creative!
Last year, he raised $4100 by doing laps around his cul-de-sac that were sponsored by individuals. Nathaniel is so passionate about this because his dad has Crohn’s Disease, and he has seen him go through many surgeries and hospital stays. He even celebrated his third birthday with his dad in the hospital.
Nathaniel is now 10 years old and was this year’s Honorary Co-Chair for the Gutsy Walk that was this past Sunday, June 6th. Nathaniel hopes he can make the lives of people living with these diseases better and help find a cure so he and his dad can play together more.
