Elizabeth Pirie is an 11-year-old passionate animal lover who decided that animals shouldn’t be left out of Valentine’s Day celebrations – pets are family, after all! So, she started making homemade dog treats to sell, and is donating part of the proceeds to Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue.
She has sold 90 bags of treats and raised over $200 for the shelter so far. Elizabeth has also always chosen to have animals be a part of her birthday celebrations, and has even requested donations to Before the Bridge in lieu of gifts!
Elizabeth loves to help her aunt who works at Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue, and has even helped her foster some of the adoptable dogs. She is a true animal lover with a huge heart, and her family is so proud of her.
