Address:
Box 242
Flin Flon, MB
R8A 1M9
The Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs of Flin Flon have been fundraising to rebuild their park for the past 4 years.

Their rebuilding plans include a new Picnic and BBQ Area, Swingsets, Playstructures, Basketball Courts, Fencing, and a Parking Lot. There will also be a fair amount of landscaping work done on the new Kin Park as well.

The Flin Flon Kinsmen and Kinettes themselves have raised $10,000.00 so far, and they will be using funds from Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo to add an additional $25,000.00 in order to begin both phases of their project this year.

Special thanks to Kinsmen member Len Pugh for researching and bringing forward this service request.

The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg will be donating $5,000.00 to the Rainbow Society to help fulfill the wishes of Manitoba children suffering from a life-threatening illness.

The $5,000.00 will go towards the Rainbow Society's Annual Auction on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.

The Annual Auction is their most successful fundraising event. Since its inception in 1995, the Auction has increased its net revenue to over $88,000.00 in 2004, which allowed them to fulfill the dreams of more Manitoba children. Each year, the Auction has a new theme to keep the event fresh and unique. The evening consists of a Live and Silent Auction, entertainment, as well as, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail reception. They are looking forward to the continued success and growth of the Annual Auction.

Special thanks to Kinsmen member Raj Phangureh for researching and bringing up this service request.

The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg has sponsored the children of some of our members to participate in the World Vision Canada 30 Hour Famine, from April 29th-30th 2005.

All over the world, there are young people who want to change things. People who care about hunger, poverty and injustice and who want to make an impact. Yet they don't know how to go about it.

Participate in the 30 Hour Famine and you can change the life of children. Take 30 hours and refuse to eat.

Special thanks to Kinsmen member William Horner for bringing forward this service request.
